Charles Dow is best known for creating the Dow Jones industrial average, which today is the oldest American index. However, the name of Charles Dow has been associated with the basics of technical analysis for more than 100 years. The author's views and research were later combined into the so-called "Charles Dow theory". Why has it not lost its relevance in the market analysis system in the age of modern online technologies and what is its essence? How do I determine significant price levels for effective intraday trading?
